In addition to funding local organizations, part of the proceeds will go to support operations of ValleyCare’s mobile health unit, a custom-built 39-foot unit that provides basic health screening and other care to Livermore children, senior citizens and others who may not have access to routine health checks.
The mobile health unit cost more than $350,000 and the Rotarian Foundation continues its fundraising campaign to cover the cost of this unit.
